Pearl Harbor

It's about the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941.

Pearl Harbor was a United States Navy installation that stored most of the planes and ships for the Pacific Fleet.

All but 3 ships were completely destroyed.

The U.S. declared war on Japan the next day, and then 3 days later Germany declared war on the U.S..

WORLD WAR I TIMELINE

January

19th, 1915, Germans use motored airships called zeppelins to launch a two-day bomb assault in the towns on Britain's east coast.

31st, 1915, Germans use tear gas for the first time against Russia.

1916, Nothing.

1917, Nothing.

8th, 1918 President Wilson gives his “14 Points” speech to Congress, detailing American conditions of peace. The points include putting an end to secret treaties, a reduction in weapons, independence for several countries, the removal of Germany from occupied territories and international assistance for

war-weakened Russia.

1919, the Allies gather in Paris to draft peace treaties led by the heads of the four major participants, British Prime Minister David Lloyd George, Italian Prime Minister Vittorio Orlando, French Premier Georges Clemenceau, and U.S. President Woodrow Wilson.
