Japan is a part of the continent of Asia. Japan was called “Nihon”. Japan’s Nickname is “Land of the Rising Sun”. Japan is made up of islands. Tokyo is the capital. The flag is a white box with a red circle in the middle. Japan’s money is called “yen”.
Japanese eat fish, eggs, sushi, And I think they eat noodles. Japan has more then 3000 Mcdonalds. They eat Puffer fish but they are poisonous because of that special chefs can cook it. They drink tea.
Children play “Hanetsuki”, it is like badmitton.
Kids start school at age 6, they go to school for 9 years, they can go 3 years of high school if they want.
Ichiro Suzuki, plays for the Seattle Mariners, He is number 51. He comes from Japan. He played for the Blue Waves in Japan.
Some animals are the Japanese bobtail cat and akita dog.
